What is your role at Parspec?

I am an Account Executive and cultivate relationships with potential customers as well as existing clients.

Why did you join Parspec?

I joined Parspec because I have a passion for the built environment and believe technology has the potential to positively transform the industry. I was impressed by the vision and product of the company and believe we have the team to truly make an impact.

Are there any recent projects or initiatives at Parspec that you’re particularly excited about, and why?

Product Finder is one of the tools I get most excited about at Parspec due to both the technology that it uses as well as all the potential use cases. I am looking forward to the future development of the tool to make it even stronger and the expansion to other product categories.

What challenges are you looking forward to trying to solve?

I am excited to push the adoption of technology within the AEC industry, which reaps huge gains for everyone.

What do you see as the most exciting trends or developments in your domain right now?

The use of large language models (LLMs) within the AEC industry has been very interesting to me. There is so much documentation and data behind the construction industry making it ripe for new companies to emerge that use this technology.

What do you think is the most important skill that a successful professional needs to have?

I think it is a combination of both integrity and hard work.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

Breakfast (I am a big proponent of breakfast is the most important meal of the day).

What have been some of the most important lessons you’ve learned throughout your career?

Consistency is everything. The simple act of showing up, working hard, and having integrity goes a long way.

What techniques help you stay organized and productive?

Time blocking has proven to be really beneficial for me in that it allows me to stay focused and get more work done throughout the day.

What sparked your interest in the technology industry?

I've always been interested in technology and the built environment, which is why I studied Architectural Engineering at university. I get most excited about technology that has the ability to impact the industry at scale.

What is the biggest challenge that you’ve faced since joining the team?

One of the biggest challenges I've faced at Parspec has been the willingness to try new technology within the construction industry. This challenge isn't unique to Parspec; I encountered similar issues during my time as an electrical engineer and lighting designer. To drive successful technology adoption in construction, it's crucial to have tools that are both industry-specific and user-friendly.

What are your career goals? Where do you think Parspec can take you?

It is my desire to make a positive impact in the built environment while enhancing my business acumen and build meaningful relationships. Parspec has provided me with the opportunity to pursue these goals in an environment surrounded by teammates I respect and admire.

If you were not working at Parspec, where would you be?

Either at another construction tech firm or a surf bum in Hawaii.

What is your favorite food?

A nicely aged steak.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Anything active or outdoorsy.

Describe your perfect weekend.

The perfect weekend would likely be spent in the mountains or at the beach having a cookout with my friends and family.

Where are you located? How did you end up there?

I am based out of San Francisco and moved to the Bay Area right out of college for my first job.
