What is your role at Parspec?
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, I design and implement scalable machine learning models and pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals, and optimize models for production. I also mentor team members and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Why did you join Parspec?
I joined Parspec because I wanted to work at a startup leveraging the potential of AI. During the interviews, I spoke with the team and really liked their ideas and approach. I also feel there’s a big opportunity in the construction industry since it’s still not very organized, and Parspec’s mission to improve it with AI felt like the right fit for me.
What challenges are you looking forward to trying to solve?
I’m looking forward to building the best recommendation system for the construction industry, especially in areas like electrical, mechanical, and plumbing. A good recommendation system can make work much easier by quickly helping professionals find the right products or solutions. It saves time, reduces confusion, and helps avoid mistakes by giving accurate and useful suggestions. By making it fast and easy to use, it can improve project workflows and bring more clarity and organization to the industry.
What sparked your interest in the technology industry?
My interest in technology began in my childhood when I would read the newspaper and always look forward to the section on technology updates. I found it fascinating, and over time, it sparked my curiosity and slowly turned into a strong interest in the field.
