What is your role at Parspec?

Head of Customer Success

Why did you join Parspec?

I joined Parspec for 2 reasons. The first was the opportunity to help build software that I felt was aiming to improve the work lives of supply chain professionals in construction. The second was the team of individuals that I knew were not only capable but excited to take on this task and build a great tool. Our team is awesome and I’m proud to be a part of it.

How do you see Parspec impacting the AEC industry? Society in general?

I think the ease of access Parspec provides to product data documentation will not only optimize the time spent putting together sales documentation but will hopefully support the repurposing of that time to source more sustainable, energy-efficient, or cost-effective products. I’d like to see Parspec have an effect on the bottom line of a construction project to help reduce living costs.

What challenges are you looking forward to trying to solve?

I love business analytics, so I’m most excited about building in-app dashboards for our customers to have the ability to analyze some important business metrics.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

I’m a lifelong learner. I enjoy getting to be in a position at a company that is trying to do new things. There is something more to learn every day and I wake up for that.

What sparked your interest in the technology industry?

I stumbled into technology through construction oddly enough. Working in business intelligence, I because more technology-focused and fell in love with the engineering and value technology can bring to businesses.

Are there any recent projects or initiatives at Parspec that you’re particularly excited about, and why?

The alternate suggestion engine we are planning to release by the end of this summer is something incredibly unique to the industry. I love the way its utilizing ML technology to help unlock the data in these spec sheets and help users find suitable alternates quickly.

If you were not working at Parspec, where would you be?

I would be at another construction tech startup or working at a golf company!

What is your favorite food?

Breakfast Burritos

What do you like to do outside of work?

I like to golf, trail run/hike, snowboard, fish with my father, and do any kind of outdoor rec activity with friends.
